1KG HTPET+ Filament - Carbon Rod Black

You will absolutely need to keep this filament dry. It becomes a spider-webby mess of stringing if you don’t. I had it sitting out overnight and the next day it was barely printable. But if you do keep it dry, it prints incredibly well, like magic, and has all the benefits of ABS without the styrene and warping. Recommend.

I've probably tried over 80 different brands/colors in seek of the perfect filament. This HTPET wins in probably EVERY way possible. Enjoy the ease of use and quality of PLA prints but not the "car melty" and mechanical side of it? HTPET prints EVEN BETTER and has similar heat properties of ABS. Need to print large parts but ABS warping makes it extremely difficult? HTPET has literally ZERO WARP, this stuff is even better than PETG & PLA with warping. Enjoy the beautiful translucent and glass like appearance of most PETG? Yea, this stuff has that WITHOUT the crappy prints that PETG blobs and inconsistencies are notorious for ruining (non translucent HTPET looks amazing too). I cannot express how B E A UTIFUL these prints come out looking AT ANY SIZE. No zits, no blobs, no warping, no stringing, no headaches, no mess, no touch ups, and the list goes on and on. There are a few downsides I've noticed, but pretty negligible if accounted for. If prints look bad or clog and you are using a CHT nozzle, change to a standard nozzle. If you get clogs, just turn up temperature, there is a very fine line between the perfect temperature and I-like-to-clog-your-hotend (which never actually is clogged, just kind of stuck and easily pushes out with a higher temp and enough force). Seriously, if you are on the fence about this because of the price or hesitancy of filament type, you really just need to try it, it's that game changing in my book and without question leads the pack by a mile.

This is my new favorite filament! It's nice to have a filament that can be printed on an open-frame printer, at high speed that has good temperature and chemical resistance. I'm printing this at 125mm/s with 12mm3/s max volumetric speed on my Voron Switchwire with Dragonfly hotend. It prints much better than PETG at high speed. You definitely have to heat dry it after opening it and keep it dry while printing/storing otherwise it gets really wispy.
