Wonderful Color and Strength
Took me a bit to get this filament tuned for my printer, but once I got my profile tuned, it's been an absolute delight to print with. This truly is a filament that I'll start a build plate worth of parts and just walk away knowing it'll stick down just fine.
Heard about this filament through the Voron PIF program as it was the filament used by my provider and I wanted to get the same filament to match the color since it was so unique.
The color is wonderful and photos don't do it justice. It produces this nice bright yet deep royal purple color. I works well with the black and purple theme I've built my printer with.
I also find it's nice and strong, easy to cut and drill, and stress marks from bending it/ bed release (Seems to happen with all ABS from what I've seen so far) can be treated with a heat gun on to really give the surface a deep uniform color.
As for settings, I'll throw mine out here to help. This is for a enclosed Voron Trident with a 0.4 mm nozzle with a Dragon SF Hotend on a StealthBurner. These are modifications made from the Basic ABS profile in SuperSlicer.
Hotend temp: 255
Bed Temp: 110 (it might not need to be this hot, I just run my bed at this temp as a default. It might be worth experimenting with this value)
Extrusion Multiplier: 0.99
Fan: 0
Fan Bridging: 35%
Overall, my only regret with this filament was that I only bought one spool of it. I'll definitely be picking up more of this color!
